Our goal is to provide you with OT information to help support your kiddos and families.
What is Occupational Therapy (OT)? When it comes to OT and kids, it is anything that occupies a child’s life, such as school, activities of daily living (ADL’s), and play. We hope to provide information that is beneficial to assist
you and your child through meaningful and purposeful activities to improve function and the overall quality of life.
Return often as we update and add information weekly! Remember to comment, ask questions, and add suggested topics.
Disclaimer: Although we are both Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) practicing in the field, our website is not intended for skilled therapeutic interventions and therapy. We both have a heart to help others and are
using this platform to share our knowledge in hopes that it will help in various areas and bring further insight to you and your families. With that said, our blog is not a place to diagnose or provide medical advice. If you do have
concerns regarding your child’s functionality and development, please reach out to your pediatrician and/or local Occupational Therapist.
As you read and explore through our website and blog posts, please take care and be cautious when performing movements and engaging in activities. Safety is a top priority for our kiddos! We may suggest activities that involve jumping,
crashing, swinging, engaging in food or water play, or using craft materials, etc. Unfortunately, injuries are a risk. So please make sure that you give appropriate supervision and are aware of hazards that may be present so that
our kiddos can stay safe.
We also participate in the Amazon Affiliate Program where a commission is earned on qualifying purchases from sales made from affiliate links within our website. Though we may earn commission, it is at no extra cost to you. You
know your child the best, so it is up to you to decide if the products will be safe for your child.
